Hi everyone!
I will describe my problem before i go for the question. When i started my learning here at Treehouse i knew nothing about code, and i really enjoy it. So now i have decided to actually make a couple of projects (websites for companies that i made up, mainly to see what i can do and if they turn out to be good use them on a portfolio website to show real companies what i can do later on if i end up looking for a job.) just to see how much i have grasped so far, and what i need to go back and do again.
What i wonder is what photos i can use because of copyrights and so on? Is there any good site where i can find photos that i am allowed to use and can use for this?
I had a look at flickr.com and they described it a little but i did not really understand it good enough, maybe someone could help me and describe it?
Thanks in advance for any advice and help given, i would really appreciate it!
/ Jonas

11,679 PointsYou have a few options for photos that are free to use. You can look for public domain photos (usually old photos where the copyright has long since expired) or you could look for Creative Commons. Just be careful when looking for CC'd images as some require you to site the author or also provide your work under the same license. Flickr's advanced search is a good place to find creative commons images but like i said - watch out to make sure you're following the license correctly.
