Hm, what is wrong here? Keep trying, but this seems logic to me?

char letters[2];
letters[0]= alpha;

Not sure why you're having a hard time passing that part of the code challenge. I did the exact same thing as you did, and I passed:

char alpha = 'a';
char bravo = 'b';

char letters[2];
letters[0] = alpha;

Thanks! The mistake was that I deleted the code of the previous task...
