What shortcuts is the instructor using to get rid of lines and space everything so well?

I'm following along, but I see to be one space off from what the instructors code is. I'd prefer to learn keyboard shortcuts and practice using them right out of the gate. Thanks in advance.

Is there a specific video you want to learn shortcuts from?

Also, most text editors have settings that can auto-format code for you.

I think that maybe what I was seeing was use of the "home" and the "end" buttons. I don't have these on my laptop. Do developers often use Home and End?
