What should i do here

It's just showing a missing return statement problem

Hm...well, one error I noticed was here:

public int getCountOfLetter(char tile) { 
    int counter = 0;     
    if (tiles.indexOf(tile) != -1) {
         counter++;
       }          
  }

Well, here you have a method setup to return an int, but there's no int being returned.

ie. you will have to return an int in the if statement like this:

if (tiles.indexOf(tile) != -1) {
    return counter;
}

and then be super careful with your next step, because if your tile.indexOf line fails, you will not be returning an int and this might cause an error in the compiler too.
