What the...

The exercise description isn't making sense to me.. cannot get this to function

   function arrayCounter(value){
        if( value instanceof Array){
         return value.length;
        }else{
         return 0; 
       }
  }

It asks you to check if the value you passed as paramater is an array or not, if so, you return the length of that value, else 0.

Thanks mate, I ended passing it. You're version is much better.
