What to charge: Membership site with blog?

Hi Treehouse members.

I've got a client asking for a proposal.

He wants a fully functional membership site and blog.

I don't have a clue what to quote and was hoping for a little guidance from members with a little more experience than myself.

I do have to take into consideration that my freelance service is still in it's youth. I've worked with a handful of clients so far - and right now testimonials and word of mouth marketing is my primary focus.

Thank you. I really appreciate your opinion.

Kerry, I highly recommend that you study the Pricing and Project Proposals badge in Pasan's How to Freelance course. Pasan goes through how to price your work and pitch proposals in very detailed terms. His whole course is great, for that matter.

I can't offer much else, not having much experience doing freelance work. But that badge should at least get you in the ballpark of where you want to be.
