name is defined still saying name isnt defined

    name = "XYZ"

    def praise(self):
        self.name = name

            print("You're doing a great job,{}".format(name))

When referring to the attribute name, use self.name. There is no need to reassign this value using "name" as it is undefined. Only self.name is defined.

  • remove assignments based on "name"
  • change format argument to self.name
