5,046 PointsWhat to do after buying a WordPress theme?
I just recently obtained a server, domain and theme. After making the necessary installments of wordpress and the theme, I dont know what to do from here. Where does FTP come to play? How can I implment PHP, JS, J.node?

11,247 PointsDo you plan on changing the structure of the purchased theme? If so, you will want to download an FTP client (I use Filezilla). IMPORTANT: Make sure if you plan on changing anything through PHP or CSS that you create a Child Theme (Check out the WP track on how to do that). After you make a child theme, you can edit the CSS and PHP. The videos in the WP track lay it out pretty well.
If you don't plan on changing anything structural and just want to use the theme's page customizer, you can simply download WP onto the database (check out either the videos here how to do that, or on the WP website.)
If you bought the theme, odds are it should have a lot of features already, and WP makes it easy to customize the front-end without adding anything else.
