What to do next after buying template?

If I buy the template from somewhere like templatemonster, I don't know how to do next to edit and change, or it has to change anything or just use it easily? I have no idea about it at all.

So, what knowledge subjects should I study to deal with the template I buy?

Most templates come with their own documentation, so I would trust yourself to figure it out once you've got it and had a look around. If you get stuck on anything, take a break, do something else or sleep on it and try again later. Google is great for problem-solving, as is time and distraction.
