what us the meaning of box-sizing: border-box; ?

box-sizing: border-box is used when you want a responsive website. That css statement keeps the border and padding inside the width so if you have a width of 200px, no matter how thick is the border or how wide is the padding you'll always have 200px width, if you don't use it, the border width and the padding will add up to the width.
