I have only been a web developer - web development includes working with websites but there are loads of functionality that you cannot see that happen behind the scenes so it is much more than just creating websites. Web development has many jobs and I am assuming it will continue to have many jobs in the future because the internet is very important. If you are a good web developer it is sufficient just to stick to web development to earn a good income.

Thanks Joseph,That means i need to earn pure skills on web development. The future of web development is safe for skillful developers, isn't it?

I'm not really sure as to what you are asking. Do you want to make websites, or do you want to know what you can do with the knowledge gained by learning here?

I just wanted to know, what's is the future of Web Development?

That is a very broad question, and I have no idea. I will say that just looking at people using the web more and more I would say there will be a more and more move toward mobile use. People are using phones, tablets, and watches to access the web. I've noticed a bigger role with javascript and mobile. If you want to learn more about the trends, I would read twitter and blogs about what people are talking about and get a since of where things are headed. The trend I see most is the bigger role of Javascript and a mobile first approach

Places like Treehouse, Udemy, Udacity, code documentation are simply building blocks and tools to teach you and help you understand some of the basic and moderate skills that you would use to create. Once you have acquired the tools to create, than it is ultimately up to you to decide what you would like to do with said tools and abilities. You can make websites, apps, build programs etc, etc.

So, to answer your question of, "What is the future of Web Development," my answer to you is-- you are.

Unless, skynet is taking over, syntax doesn't just create on it's own, lol. For the most part, it's that certain creative individual that started smashing buttons creating crazy algorithms or making happy accidents.

What you really have to ask yourself is how far you are going to take it? Sure, you can go with a trend. Anyone can do that. OR! You can get a little crazy and make something creative and start a new trend. Won't know until you try.

Happy coding!

If i'm 100% able to work in Web Development, can i make my successful career with Web Development?

to answer that question you have to first define what it is you want to do, second try and achieve that goal, then third evaluate where you are in your career . Its really up to you and what you define as being successful. If you want to be a web developer, and can write code then yes, you can be a web dev.

If you're able to work 100% in Web Development then 1.) pat yourself on the back because that is a heck of a lot of code knowledge and 2.) that should motivate you to do many great things.

Yes, you can be successful, which brings me back to what I said earlier. You won't know until you try. So, now, remove all that doubt from your head and go practice and get creative.

Happy coding!

yes, I think it is safe to invest time in web development for the future. When you learn web development, you will learn general programming skills that are transferrable into other areas. If you enjoy web development then keep on doing it...it is a good field.
