What's the difference between 2 courses?

What's the difference between 2 courses - "Web Design" and "Front-End Dewelopment"? Both are available here at Treehouse.

Web Design Track focuses on : HTML/CSS Basics, Design Concepts, and SEO Basics.

Front End Development Track focuses on: HTML/CSS Basics, Javascript/jQuery Basics, Responsive Design, Ajax basics and Development Tools for Webdesign.

I personally would reccomend doing both but starting with "Web Design Track" if you are a beginner to programming languages.

The Front End Development track covers a few more advanced techniques such as scripting languages etc.

Web Design has much more do to with illustrating a page. Front End gets more in to the functionality of a page.

Thank you!
