What's the difference between the Git Basics course and the Introduction to Git course?

I just took the Introduction to Git course and really liked it. I see that there is also a Git Basics course which covers many of the same topics. I'm going to recommend that a friend take a git course on Treehouse but I'm not sure which one to recommend. He is a competent developer but has never formally learned about git. Is one more suited for him?
