C# C# Objects Encapsulation and Arrays Ternary If

what's wrong?

the error says "did you include Boolean expression" (value<0) is Boolean, isn't it? Thanks.

string textColor = null;


(value < 0) ? textColor = "red" : textColor = "green";

The problem is that you shouldn't assign anything within the result of the Ternary If, the result should just be a pure value, when the Ternary If is evaluated it returns one of the values, so instead of setting the textColor within the Ternary If you should set the textColor to the result of the Ternary If like this:

textColor  = (value < 0) ? "red" : "green"; // if true "red" is returned, if false "green" is returned
