What's wrong with this codes?

The question was "Create a global array named "options" and include it in the options page function." and I wrote the following code and I got an error message " There is no global variable named "$options". It should be created outside of the function." What's wrong with this codes?

            wp_die( 'You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.' );

    global $options;
        if( isset( $_POST['my_plugin_hidden_field'] ) ) {

Hi Kohane,

You have simply missed defining the $options variable as an array outside the function. Take a look below to get you through the first question.

  $options = array();

    function my_plugin_options_page() {

    global $options;

        if( !current_user_can( 'manage_options' ) ) {
            wp_die( 'You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.' );
        }
