Hi there, basically it's your conditional statements that are causing the issue. For example:

if(question1.toLowerCase() === 'JavaScript')

What you are asking in this conditional is if the answer (transformed into lowercase) is equal to the string 'JavaScript'.This will always equals to false:

'javascript' === 'JavaScript' //this will return false

Why? Because these two values are not the exact same. So even if the answer is technically correct, a point will not be awarded. What you need to do is change the value of what you are comparing the answer against, like so:

if(question1.toLowerCase() === 'javascript')

which will result in:

'javascript' === 'javascript' //this will return true

Hope that helps!!

I appreciate your help Grace!

no problem!! glad to help :)
