Courses Plus Student 668 PointsWhen i am on mac. Where do i see the style css in text edit?
The style css is linked to the index.html in the workspace. How does one do this on their own mac? I mean i am using the text edit. Where is the css here? Or do i need to download separately? If i don't use a css sheet, can i code the style along with the html in the same text edit using css codes? If yes, then whether my understanding that the css sheet is merely make the html and style functions less confusing by using 2 different sheets? Please can you explain?

3,326 PointsHello!
You will want two different sheets! :)
Your html file should be named index.html (You do this when you save the file) or whatever you would like to call it. Just as long as you end it with .html.
Now in the same process you will make a css page! Just name it something like Ravi.css or whatever you like!
Now place both of these files in a folder so you can keep them together and be sure to link you css file in your html. For Example:
<link style="text/css" rel="stylesheet" href="ravi.css" />Now I recommend the text editor Sublime or Atom both are free and open source.
Let me know if you need clarification on something.
