when I do a git flow finish command, how come it is not recorded on the git log? changes made via git flow arent visible

After doing a git flow finish command, it supposed to merge, commit and delete a branch, and you can also put a message for this change. After using git flow finish, there is no records in git log for merges that occurred on master or integration. Essentially i cannot see any record of the changes invoked by git flow in my master or integration
