When I try to download Xcode, it says "This update can only be installed on OS X 10.9.4 or newer" What do I do?

I am running on Mavericks at the moment.

Are there any updates for you to install through the App Store?

Hello Nathaniel,

first off what OS do you have? Next we have a couple options,

1) update your OS, this is never normally a bad idea

2) download an earlier version of xCode, you can find the older versions of xCode on the apple developer site (if i remember correct) and if it's not there you can find it on the internet

these are the first 2 that come to mind.

Best, Kai
