When is the best time to learn Wordpress development?

Hi, I know html, css, js, basic php and made projects to improve my skills. Im now learning intermediate php and databases. I’m wondering when is the best time to start learning Wordpress development? Should I make project once i finish intermediate php track then jump to wordpress or start with wordpress development tracks immediately after finishing intermediate php track?

Ultimately, I think this is up to your own preference and learning style. While you most definitely can sail through Wordpress development without having in-depth knowledge of PHP, it will would be really beneficial and there would be less hair-pulling if you do actually know your PHP.

As someone who has dealt with Wordpress pre-knowing-PHP and post-knowing-PHP, it’s obviously easier to translate your vision into the Wordpress environment once you’ve got a good grasp of PHP, so I guess if I were in your position, I'll wrap up with the intermediate PHP course first before heading on to work on a Wordpress project.
