JavaScript JavaScript and the DOM (Retiring) Making Changes to the DOM DOM Manipulation

when on to goolgle to see if there was any help, just libs fighting. I still dont know what I am doing wrong

copied from task 3 of 3

contentDiv.appendChild(newParagraph);

as I see it, it should work!!!

I don't know what "libs fighting" might be, but it sounds interesting!

But here are some issues I noticed with your task 3 code:

  • you wrote "getElementByTagName" (missing an "s") instead of "getElementsByTagName"
  • "getElementsByTagName" returns a collection and would need to be indexed
  • you might want to use "getElementById" instead
  • "contentDiv" is undefined (did you mean to use your variable named "div"?)
