CSS

When using Bootstrap, should I use the Bootstrap class for margins, padding, and colors, or should I use regular CSS?

You're limited when you use the Bootstrap classes, but is it important for compatibility?

I'd say use bootstrap classes whenever possible. But if it doesn't suit your website you shouldn't be afraid to use custom styling to get what you need. Just be sure to use bootstrap styles first when referencing them in your HTML and then your custom styles :)
