iOS Build a Weather App with Swift (Retired) Data Modeling With Structures Customizing Dates

When using .ShortStyle is asking me to use .MediumStyle and when I use .MediumStyle is asking me to use .ShortStyle

import Foundation let secondsSinceBirth = NSTimeInterval(1200000000) var dateOfBirth = NSDate(timeIntervalSince1970: secondsSinceBirth)

let dateFormatter = NSDateFormatter() dateFormatter.timeStyle = .ShortStyle

var stringDate = dateFormatter.stringFromDate(dateOfBirth)

date_formatter.swift
import Foundation
let secondsSinceBirth = NSTimeInterval(1200000000)
var dateOfBirth = NSDate(timeIntervalSince1970: secondsSinceBirth)

let dateFormatter  = NSDateFormatter()
dateFormatter.timeStyle = .ShortStyle

var stringDate  = dateFormatter.stringFromDate(dateOfBirth)

You need to format the Date Style too:

dateformatter.dateStyle = .MediumStyle

Works great! Thank you Oliver!
