When will you do a version 5?

It's a little confusing now trying to follow with 5 out. I know it just came out but I like this course more than what's on laracasts.

Treehouse, is this Laravel 4 tutorial compatible with version 5? Should I watch the https://laracasts.com/series/laravel-5-fundamentals study instead or along with your version 4 tutorial?

technically the laravel 4.2 version treehouse are doing IS laravel 5 with some minor differences... at least that is what I think.. could be wrong (or assumed wrongly!)

I'm not entirely sure, i've just grazed over some of the videos and the routing and controller stuff looked different from Laracasts but maybe they are just doing it differently.

they have changed the layout of the folders and made somethings a bit easier to understand in 5 I will try to work along and I'll note the changes I notice if that will help anyone

If you're not willing to learn using Laravel 4, I WOULD STRONGLY SUGGEST NOT DOING THIS COURSE. There are enough changes (though minor) between Laravel 4 and Laravel 5 that every few videos you are going to want to kill someone.
