When would it be appropriate to start this course?

Because there's not a specific "react native" track on treehouse yet (with a list of courses you should take before getting started with react native), what do you guys feel the essential concepts need to know are before embarking on either react basics or react native?

I figure I need a very good base of javascript, which is why I am almost through the beginner javascript track, but because my main goal is to to learn react native to build mobile apps, are there courses in the beginner javascript track that aren't necessary or other courses outside of the javascript track that would be useful?
