Whenever I click on the img folder in the workspace it says "Workspace connection lost Try reconnecting now"

1) Whenever I click on the img folder in the workspace it says "Workspace connection lost This Workspace no longer has an active connection. Please make sure your computer is connected to the internet. Try reconnecting now" even when I am connected to the Internet. 2) I have typed the correct code in the footer as instructed but still I cannot see the twitter-wrap.png and facebook-wrap.png in my preview.

It sounds like some internal issue. If that happened to me, I would download the workspace (if there's anything in it worth keeping), then delete it, then create a new one, manually inserting anything kept from the old one.
