12,359 PointsI've just tested this and the extraction error I received was relating to file path being too long (I think Windows has a limit of 255 characters). You don't really specify the exact issue you're having but if this is it you could work around it by shortening the directory name or just remove it altogether.
So rather than leaving the default extraction path as (in my case): D:\Downloads\adt-bundle-windows-x86_64-20140624\adt-bundle-windows-x86_64-20140624...
I told it to extract directly into my directory as I knew it created a sub-directory of the same name anyway. As in: D:\Downloads\adt-bundle-windows-x86_64-20140624...
This saved me about 30 characters or so.
