You're doing great, actually! The problem is that you seem a bit indecisive on whether you should use British English spelling or American English spelling. Originally, you named your variable $flavor (as required by the challenge). But now you're trying to echo $flavour ... which doesn't exist :) Try cleaning up the spelling on your variables and see if you can't get it to work!

You don't need to use the variable in the last echo statement.

<?php
 if($flavor == "cookie dough"){
    echo "<p>Hal's favorite flavor is cookie dough, also!</p>";
}
?>

Also for your information there is no need to start another post if your question pertains to the last one, just go ahead and include the question in your previous post.

<?php $flavor = 'vanilla';

echo "<p>Your favorite flavor of ice cream is "; echo $flavor; echo ".</p>Naison,s favorite $flavor is cookie dough, also!<p>"; if($flavor == 'cookie dough'){

echo "<p>Hal's favorite flavor is cookie dough, also!</p>"; }

?>
