I just want to know where can I find a job as a freelance web developer that pays $75,000 or over, like a website where you can apply as a freelance web developer .

It all depends on where you live and what your skills are. I'm in NYC, most developers I know make 80k and above in full times roles. I used to get 35-50 an hour as a freelancer four years ago. I used LinkedIn mostly to find jobs since I'm connected to over 800 recruiters. When I'm available I update my status and they contact me.

However LaToya, in NYC 80k isn't the same as 80k elsewhere, the cost of living in NYC is too high.

Abby Mann that is true the cost of living here is high and 80k will not allow you to live comfortably in NY in my opinion. I was just answering the 75,000 question. This is one of the places where a freelancer can get 75k with no problem. Though the cost of living is high, living in major tech oriented cities has advantages. There are a ton of web jobs here. If I lose one contract, its easy to get another one fairly quickly. The salaries are much higher. 110-130 for senior developers is not unrealistic.
