Where can I get my own textures, headers, footers, etc?

Is there a place I can get some of these cool background textures or do I need to hire a graphic designer? I'm also interested in getting nice-looking headers and footers.

Thanks!

Eventually, you'll want to learn to make your own but Subtle Patterns is a really good place for background textures. Seriously, check out Photoshop and Illustrator deep dives and learn how to make your own assets - it'll be that much more impressive. ;)

No problem. Also, to help keep the discussion threaded, you might want to reply using the comment links below the posts you are replying to (like I just did). It's just one of those nitpicky things, but it looks nice. ^_^

Also, don't forget to choose a "Best Answer" once you feel you've found one. This encourages people to answer (because selecting best answer gives the person who gave the best answer 12 extra points in the forum topic) and it also marks the topic as "answered", allowing people looking to help other people to move on to other questions and help other people faster. ;)

And welcome to Treehouse.

That site's still around? I remember that from the days I was on Angelfire, creating websites in 1998.
