Where can I learn programming on C++?

I mean not syntax, if-else and concepts but actually WRITE simple programs on the language. Maybe a course alowing to learn how to program, like C# here.

You might not find anything quite like Treehouse, and I haven't used these myself, but there seems to be several online tutorial sources:

Plus there's a few videos on YouTube, and I'm sure you can dig up several more sources if you hunt around a bit with a search engine.

I thought they were all free except that last one, though it appeared to have a free trial, like Treehouse. Are you sure the entire course is free? That would be good to know.
