Where did the job board go?

I had to pause my account for a short while, so I think I missed out on a few changes. I see information about job placement, but who does this happen for and how often? I don't really see this implemented anywhere, or at least obviously.

Hi Jimmy,

A couple months ago we retired the job board due to lack of usage, but we're working hard on a job placement program to take its place. Currently we are reaching out to some of our top performing students to assist with placement, and we just placed our 8th student in a job today. In the near future we will introducing a new section of the website that provides career advice and tasks to complete for acceptance into the job placement program.

In the meantime, there are a few things you can do to get ready:

  • Make sure you've answered "Yes" for "I am looking for work" on your profile. (I can see you've done this already!)
  • Take our Career Survey, which will help us to provide you with personalized career tips and match you with jobs.
  • Finish at least one Track. This will be required for all students in our job placement program.
  • Make sure you've done a few small projects that show the skills you've learned.
  • Review our Career Resources section and work on your portfolio and resume.

Thanks for being a Treehouse student and keep up the good work!

Thanks for the help, I'll see if I can hunker down and focus real quick on completing a few tracks (looking like I might complete 3-4 at once).

I'm quite interested in this as well. Currently working on the Android Development track but also plan to complete the Front End Web Page development track. A job placement program would be absolutely wonderful.

I'm very interested in this. Also, the career survey link is not working.
