Where does the Four P's of Problem solving come from?

Hey, how are you?

During some of the design courses in Web Design, and now in the Javascript/jQuery courses in Front End Web Development, you're using that approach for problem solving.

Interested in reading more about it, I've googled it but didn't find any link that linked that methodology with design/developing workflows.

I was wondering if it was something treehouse sort of... created, is it Mat's own invention? Or if it's an approach that could be found in some book.

Thank you!
