where does the textarea go T
<!DOCTYPE html> <html> <head> <meta charset="utf-8"> <title>HTML Forms</title> </head> <body> <form action="index.html" method="post"> <input type="text" id="name" name="user_name" <input type="text" id="name" name="user_name" <input type="textarea" id="comment" name="user_comment" /form> </body> </html>
there are a few little issues in your code:
The closing </form> tag is missing the first bracket "<".
And all of your <input> tags are missing the ">" at the very end.
Lastly: the <input> element has no such type as "textarea". There are many different types of input (eg. name, email, password, checkbox...), but for textareas you use the <textarea> element.
Blessings from Berlin and happy coding, Nils
