Where is Mike, the Frog?

Why there's no Mike, The Frog in the new Android first course? I recently finished the "Crystall Ball app", and now i did the "Fun Facts App" and he doesn't appear on it. I really liked him.

Personally, i'm glad Mike is gone. I found a lot of the banter with him to be embarrassingly childish, as if I was watching Sesame Street or something. He seems more appropriate for a much younger audience so I think Treehouse should stick with him if they offer classes for kids but as an adult, it kind of just made me roll my eyes. I'm not THAT bad of a programmer that I need a clueless frog puppet to relate to.

I think Mike passed away :'(

Just kidding, I expect Mike stopped getting used in an effort to teach less cheesy courses. I personally think the courses without him are much more engaging and am somewhat glad he is no longer featured in courses. Sure it was funny but without him, I feel you can focus on the material more.

Here, I'ill tag Ben Jakuben to see if he can explain the reason for this change

Thanks man!

I like Mike and the jokes in the courses,it don't dristract me much. Like the threads example with Ben being poked. But if they decide to make it more serious, well i really like the content as well!
