Where is the error in syntax?

def loopy(items): # Code goes here for item in items: if item[0] == "a": continue else: print item The code should be iterating through items in a list. If the character at index 0 is an "a" it should skip and print the next item in the loop.

breaks.py
def loopy(items):
    # Code goes here
    for item in items:
        if item[0] == "a":
            continue
        else:
            print item

Hi there! You're doing great and your logic is spot on! As you guessed, the problem is with syntax and it's on the very last line. You simply forgot to put item inside of parentheses.

print(item)

Happy coding! :sparkles:
