Which course should I take to start creating wordpress development?

Where should I exactly start to start creating wordpress theme. I already started learning PHP and I think completed 3 courses by now the beginner courses. Then I went to the Wordpress Development track and Zac said that at this point you should have done the How to build a wordpress theme course, so I went there and started it but then he said that I need to have at least the knowledge of PHP which I got a bit confused and need your help.

Can you guys list for me the courses I need to take one by one in order for me to be able to start learning how to build wordpress themes?

Wordpress themes are built using PHP, so if you really want to get into building Wordpress themes, it would probably be a good idea to learn PHP. So I would suggest doing the PHP track, then doing the Wordpress Theme course and then finally finishing the Wordpress track.

Hi!

The WordPress Development Track is your best bet to follow. You should know basic HTML, CSS, PHP and JS before you get started with it though.

Hey Zac, I have already started with the track and I should say the Wordpress courses is the only course that after each video finishes I have understood what you have taught fully and used it in a real world project. I love your courses and hope for more to come soon!
