Which is the best text editor & compiler for python?

I am wanting to complete some python exercises outside of treehouse workspaces. Which is the best python text editor & compiler for this?

For editors: You can use pretty much whatever editor you prefer, but the most popular for python is Atom.io, Visual Studio Code and PyCharm :-)
