Which is which

In my account, there is a circle with my avatar and points increasing and then another circle with an arrow encircled green when i attempt content in there. Which of the two should i concentrate on, i am doing web design

The encircled arrow is your next step on your currently selected track, while your overall points reflect total progress in all Treehouse courses.

If your currently selected track is the one you want to remain on, I would focus on completing that and go with the suggestion you receive from clicking on the encircled arrow. You can switch tracks by clicking in the 'map' icon on the left side of your Treehouse screen.
