Which next-gen cell phone would you recommend for Our professions? (Front end more specifically)

I'm at the crossroads where I'm looking to use my upgrade on my plan soon.

I've been an iPhone user for the past 4 years and enjoy it very much. I know next to nothing about android-based phones

But before I invest in the new iPhone 6 out of comfort, I wanted to see if there was any benefits into switching phone product lines. Most interested in whether or not which phone line will benefit me the most professionally.

I am also open to opinions and suggestions! Thank you!

I would imagine the only real benefit would be device testing except that there are tons of Android screen sizes so you can never cover them all.
