Python Python Basics (2015) Shopping List App Break

which part do I wrong? challenge loopy

I am not sure where I was wrong here, please help!

breaks.py
def loopy(items):
    # Code goes here
    for item in items:
      print(item)
      if item=="STOP":
        break

change the place of your if/ break statement and it gonna work , exactly like the Shopping List App.

Harout is correct. The reason that it doesn't work now is that you print the item out before you check to see if you should stop. This causes the "STOP" itself to be printed.

:point_right: if you move the test, you can make it stop before it prints the word "STOP".

yeay thank's everyone! :)
