Which programming language should I choose?

Hi, I was a bit confused regarding which language to use for back-end web development once I'm done with web design. PHP and Ruby seem to be the most obvious choice for me. I think treehouse has more support for Ruby(new courses) but I also think that PHP is a fun language and that I might be more comfortable in that. So which language should I choose to go with.

Thank you.

Go for what you feel comfortable with, so you can make as much as you can.

Node.js is becoming popular and is pretty easy to learn. No Treehouse support though.
