Which service is best to either "Host" or "Embed" videos to a site? Youtube or Vimeo?

Or are there any others that I'm missing? Thank you.

I think youtube is a great platform. and Vimeo comes next to youtube. Both are almost the same. So I would say going with the platform that goes best with the site's design and looks is the best. One more thing, I noticed that Vimeo can sometimes be very slow, sluggish or at times may stop playing at all. So that's something I would look for when working.

Again, this is from my personal experience ( and my own thoughts ).

I believe Vimeo doesn't have any embedded advertising, but I'm not sure if that's through a paid subscription or not. Basically, I think it comes down to personal preference. :)
