1,463 PointsThey chose the subjects for the TechDegrees to have a large range of options. A company making a mobile app would look at the Swift and Java (Android) degrees but probably not the front end web development one. But at the same time someone who wants someone to make a company website would look at Front End Web Development and Javascript but not Swift Development. It all just depends on what you want to do. If you aren't sure what you want to do in the future, then I would simply suggest taking the Java, Javascript, Swift, HTML/CSS and Python basic courses and see which language you may enjoy the most. Pick that language to focus on (like joining the TechDegree program in). This may be beneficial because A) It lets you explore many languages which is not only beneficial to you but it would be good in interviews to say you have some experience with multiple languages and B) You'd be working a language you enjoy, and that will make you more motivated and excited for your projects and course work. I hope this helps!
P.S. I am in the iOS Development TechDegree, if you have any questions about it feel free to let me know :)
