Which Track to start on?

Hi, I am interested in being an location independent digital nomad while I'm still young, in my early twenties and I think freelance tech stuff is the way to go. Has anyone ever traveled and done stuff like this? I have started the Android Development Track, but I am open to ideas and may change based on these answers. Does website design/development hold more promise in the freelance market or something like app development or PHP? Any responses would be welcomed and appreciated! Thank you!!

I would suggest doing the Android track if Android development is what your passion is. You can take as many courses on as many tracks as you want, and you can be nomadic and move around from track to track if you want. My suggestion would be to find something that will bring you joy to work on every day and focus on that.

I've always found (although I'm new to Treehouse, I'm not new to the industry), that having basic web design/development knowledge, namely HTML/CSS etc has given me a basis to work off of that's been super helpful. I'd start with the How to Make a Website course, inside the Web Design Track just to get yourself going. :)

I too am a location independent marketing and design/dev consultant, and my wife and I travel as much as we can and plan on traveling in a travel trailer for extended periods very shortly. Check out people like www.technomadia.com and www.snowmads.com for some inspiration :)
