Which Version of XAMPP?

I own a Windows XP, and the first time I tried installing XAMPP it told me to use an earlier version because the latest (v1.8.3) didn't support XP.

Is v1.8.2 compatible?

I couldnt find older versions on the apache friends site, i did find this though. one of those is bound to work. Honestly though you should probably just upgrade from XP to 7 (I wouldnt recommend 8). A lot of the software used in some of the courses might not be compatible and Microsoft dropped support for XP today actually.
