Who else dislike the new colors? + [Suggestion to solve the problem]

I appreciate the effort and time has been put into this and also the blog post explaining this decision, but with all due respect I have to say I really dislike the new look and it really bothers me. As a visual thinker (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PJiMjSscgk4&frags=pl%2Cwn) I have reason to believe colour change, actually have a huge negative impact on existing users while it might not be problem for new users! Connecting the learned concepts for visual thinkers are massively powered through colours and images and relations between different parts, when you remove or change a part of that captured screenshot in the brain, you have actually removed a piece of puzzle, which brings confusion and negatively impact the learning process.

When people come to this website trying to learn they already know what they want to learn. For instance I know I want to do iOS. I don't really care if it's backend or frontend course, I have to do it as long as it is iOS. Therefore making everything dark and non attractive will not help out finding the content easier in anyway.

From the user perspective who have been actively using this website for almost a year, I really dislike the new look and I would like to ask to revert it back to the previous beautiful look.

Suggestion to solve the issue if management team don't want to revert it back: Creating a feature that users can choose the light/dark theme from their setting, instead of forcing dark dead colours on everybody without asking their preferences.
