In this challegue say this.
The code in app.js just opens a prompt, asks for a password, and writes to the document. Something is missing. Add a while loop, so that a prompt keeps appearing until the user types "sesame" into the prompt.
This is my answer var secret = prompt("What is the secret password?"); var password = 'sesame';
while (secret !== password) { prompt("What is the secret password?") + password; secret += 0; } document.write("You know the secret password. Welcome.");
but the course say this.
I don't see the prompt()
command inside the loop. Use the prompt()
command to assign a new value to the secret
variable.
You need to assign a new value to the secret
variable inside the loop.
what is the problem in my code.
var secret = prompt("What is the secret password?");
document.write("You know the secret password. Welcome.");

12,314 Pointsits normal ; cause inside the loop while you have to re-ask the user for an other password. and he wont get passed that till he got the right answer
var secret = prompt("What is the secret password?");
while ( secret !== "sesame" )
{
secret = prompt("What is the secret password?");
}
document.write("You know the secret password. Welcome.");
