HTML HTML Basics Structuring Your Content Semantic HTML: <header>, <footer> and <section>

Why "about" in section?

Why is the "About" section at 5:50, wrapped in a section element and not in the header element?

header is for Nav bar and and tittle, "about" is the content of the page, so it should be wrapped in a section element and not in the header element.

Thank you for your answer.

In the video the definition of the header includes a site description. I think the "about" section in this chapter is a site description.

Or is this just a tomato and tomatto issue?

yes, it is site description, in real website sited description is on separate page, so in this lesson, site description is not linked to separate page, so when you click on the "about" it take you to about section instead of separate page. You will learn more about those in next lesson.

Thank you for the clear answer johnny!
