why am i getting snytax errors for the funtion which i created

below is a fuction i created :The console tells me there is an error in snytax but i cant figure it out.

def show_help(): print("what shoud we buy today?") print("""you can type 'DONE to complete you list or 'HELP' for this help""")

call show help function when program start
